August 2026 Partner of the Month
Djeneba Djeing is the partner of the month for August 2026.
Djeneba is one member of a family that partners with ADI in Nouakchott, Mauritania. Djeneba worked
with diligence this year and completed two semesters of study in computer science. Djeneba is shown
here (second from the left) with her class of high school level technical students on the day of graduation.
During her elementary and secondary studies, Djeneba was sponsored by a group of ladies in Winston
Salem, North Carolina who partnered with ADI to fund Djeneba’s annual school fees.
Djeneba’s mother and father have remained as ADI partners for many years. Her father was very active
with other ADI partners raising rabbits and chickens from 2009 to 2012; her father passed away on
August 25th
2012 after experiencing a terrible headache. Djeneba’s mother has remained as a partner and
volunteer in numerous projects implemented by ADI since 2012. We are proud of Djeneba! We wish her
the best in her future endeavors.
